The Club · $9 a month
The parts that don't fit in a free letter.
The letter stays public: anyone can read it, free, forever. The Club is the working file behind it — templates you copy into your own tools, the full arithmetic on one real project each month, and an hour to ask about yours. It is not more reading. It is the part you can use on a Monday.
Membership
Two ways in.
Same membership either way. The yearly plan exists for people who would rather think about this once than twelve times.
Billed monthly, in advance. Cancel whenever you like.

- One invoice, easier to expense
- The price you join at, for as long as you stay
- Cancel mid-year and keep access until it ends
The Club is not open yet — checkout is not connected, so the buttons above are placeholders, not a waitlist trick. When it does open: payment runs through a third-party processor (we never see your card), cancelling is one click in any receipt, and a reminder goes out a week before each renewal. Until then the letter is free, and that is where the opening date gets announced. Get the letter →
What's included
Six things you can put to work.
Each one is a file, a number, or an hour. None of it is a bonus issue.
Templates, not frameworks
Fifteen of them: the weekly plan, the quote sheet, the delivery checklist, the retro, the rate calculator, the handover note. Sheets, Notion, and plain Markdown — copy once, keep forever, no attribution.
One teardown a month
A real project opened up: what was quoted, what landed, hours actually spent, what got refunded, and the single line that ate the margin. Client names change where asked. The numbers don't.
The 60-minute Q&A
Once a month, live. Send your question up to 48 hours ahead; anything not reached on the call gets answered by email. Recording and notes up within two days.
The whole archive
Every issue since 001, searchable by trade and by number. The free tier keeps the last three; members keep all of them, including the ones we got wrong.
The failure file
A running list of what didn't work, sorted by trade: pricing, scope, contracts, delivery, and the clients people should have declined. Every entry has a cost next to it.
Early access
New templates and tools land here a month before they appear anywhere public, with the working notes attached — including the parts we are still unsure about.
Who this is not for
Four reasons to keep your $9.
The membership is narrow on purpose. If any of these are what you want, the free letter is the better deal.
There is one letter a week, on Thursday. No streak, no push notification, no morning quote. Some weeks that is the entire output, and it is deliberate.
There is no forum, no Slack, no Discord. The Q&A is one hour, once a month. If belonging is the thing you are buying, this will feel quiet.
This is the slow path: fewer clients, higher prices, delivered properly. It runs in quarters, not weeks, and nothing here will make it faster than it is.
The teardowns are chosen because something went wrong, and the numbers are unflattering on purpose. Encouragement is available for free elsewhere.
Questions
Before you join.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Every receipt has a one-click cancel link, and the subscription is managed through our email platform, so there is no account to hunt for and no retention call. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing is charged after that.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
The content is identical. Monthly is $9, billed every month. Yearly is $90, billed once — the same as ten months, so you get two free. That is 17% less over a year, and it is the only discount on this page.
How often does the content arrive?
The free letter every Thursday. One teardown a month, usually the first week. One 60-minute Q&A a month, with the recording posted within two days. New templates land every four to six weeks. Nothing arrives daily, and nothing arrives on a weekend.
Is there a refund policy?
14 days, full refund, no questions and no form — email hello@doerhq.com from the address you subscribed with and the money goes back to the same card. After 14 days we don't pro-rate the remainder; you cancel and keep access until the period ends.
What language is the member content in?
English, all of it: templates, teardowns, notes, and the live call. If you would rather not speak on a call, written questions are answered in writing — same deadline, same depth.
Will the price go up?
Probably, once there is more in the archive. Existing members keep the price they joined at, monthly or yearly, for as long as they stay subscribed. If it changes, you hear it from us first — by email, with a date — not from a checkout page.
Do I need to be earning already?
Yes, at least one paying client. The templates assume you are quoting, delivering, and invoicing real work. If you haven't sold anything yet, the free letter is the better place to start, and we would rather you kept the $9.
The Club
$9 a month. No countdown.
The letter is free and stays free. If the templates save you an hour a month, the membership pays for itself; if they wouldn't, don't subscribe — the letter is still yours.
Still deciding? Ask a question first — a real reply, usually within a day.
